How to submit a prayer note and how we deliver it

What happens after payment, who is commemorated, where the donation goes and what we promise.

What happens after payment

Right after payment you receive an email with the names and the type of note. We hand the note to the monastery you have chosen ourselves: in person on our nearest trip or, if no trip is coming soon, by email to the monastery within 1–2 days. Notes are accepted for Samtavro monastery, at the relics of St Gabriel, and for the Monastery of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos in Borjomi.

All your prayer notes are kept in your personal account.

Who is commemorated

A prayer note lists the baptismal names of those baptised in the Orthodox Church. The unbaptised and people you are not sure were baptised can be remembered in prayer at home.

If in doubt, write to us and we will advise.

Where the donation goes

The donation is received by the NIKA association of the disabled on a separate donation account (IBAN EE88 7700 7710 1334 8981). From it the association submits prayer notes in monasteries and helps those in need.

What we promise

The prayer note will be delivered to the monastery, and the names will be commemorated at the divine service.
