Icons of St Gabriel Urgebadze

St Gabriel (Urgebadze) reposed in 1995 and was canonised by the Georgian Church in 2012. His relics rest at Samtavro monastery in Mtskheta, where pilgrims come from all over Georgia and from abroad.

Each icon of this series has a particle of cloth that lay on the saint's relics set into its back. There are single icons and sets: an icon with an akathist in Georgian or Russian, with a prayer book, or with the New Testament in Georgian. The series is blessed at Samtavro monastery.

You can also send a prayer request with names for health or for the departed to the relics of St Gabriel; our group takes it to Samtavro.
