How our icons and crosses are blessed

For every item we state where it was consecrated: at which relics or in which monastery. Here is everything that confirms it: the letter from Samtavro monastery, workshop certificates, letters of honour.

WHERE CONSECRATED

Where the items are consecrated

  • Silver

All silver crosses, pendants and rings are consecrated on particles of the relics of St George the Victorious.

  • Items of St Gabriel

Icons with a particle of cloth from the relics, sets, prayer ropes, oil and candles from the St Gabriel series are consecrated in Samtavro monastery in Mtskheta, most of them at the relics of the saint. We have a letter from the monastery.

CONSECRATION

How it happens

We bring the items of the St Gabriel series to Samtavro during our trips and consecrate them there. Icons from monastery workshops arrive already consecrated: they are consecrated in the monasteries where they are made.

The silver is consecrated on particles of the relics of St George the Victorious. The place of consecration is stated in the card of each item.
