Description
The set holds two icons of the Mother of God. Amolyntos is Greek for "Immaculate", the name Greek tradition gives to this image of the Mother of God with the Child; the Vladimir icon, by tradition painted by the Evangelist Luke, is one of the most venerated icons of the Mother of God.
Each icon measures 6.4 x 5 cm. The two small icons stand well side by side in an icon corner or on a desk, and make a lovely gift for a mother or a godmother.
The colour image is screen-printed on a special alloy base coated with 999 silver by physical vapour deposition (PVD).
