Description
The Bethlehem icon of the Mother of God is linked to the town where the Saviour was born. The Mother of God with the Child is painted after a Byzantine model, in the traditional colours of icon painting.
It measures 8 x 11 cm and is 13 mm thick. The icon is set in a frame with glass that keeps dust off the cover. Place it on a shelf or in an icon corner, or give it at Christmas.
The base is brown MDF, with 999 silver applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD) and gilded details. Handmade. Wipe the glass and frame with a dry soft cloth.
