Description
This image of the Most Holy Mother of God with the Child bears the name of Bethlehem, the place of the Nativity. The icon follows a Byzantine original, with silver and gold in the cover alongside the traditional colours of icon painting.
The icon is set in a frame with glass. At 8 x 11 cm and 13 mm thick it suits a bedside shelf, a desk or a home icon corner.
The base is brown MDF, coated with 999 silver by physical vapour deposition (PVD). Handmade. Wipe the frame and glass with a dry soft cloth.
