Description
The Lord Jesus Christ is shown as the Pantocrator, Ruler of All, holding the Gospel in His left hand and giving a blessing with His right. Known since the 6th century, this image fills the domes and apses of Orthodox churches.
The icon is 13 x 18 cm. A home icon corner usually begins with an icon of Christ, placed at the centre next to the Mother of God. It comes in a gift box and is given for a baptism, a wedding or a feast day.
The base is MDF, with 999 silver applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD). Handmade. Wipe the cover with a dry soft cloth.
