Description
The icon shows the flaming heart of the Virgin Mary pierced by a sword: the flame stands for her love of God and of people, the sword for her sorrow at the Cross of her Son. Devotion to the Immaculate Heart is especially widespread in the Western Church.
At 8.6 x 11.3 cm the icon is light and easy to place on a bedside table, a desk or in a small prayer corner. A thoughtful name day gift.
The base is MDF and the cover is coated with 999 silver by physical vapour deposition (PVD), a finish that resists tarnishing. Handmade.

Beautiful piece. This is a phenomenal company that has very gorgeous craftsmanship at super phenomenal prices. Shipping is a bit long but the product far outshines this.
