Description
By tradition the Jerusalem icon of the Mother of God was painted by the holy Evangelist Luke. It was brought from Jerusalem to Constantinople, where, tradition says, prayer before it more than once saved the city from enemies. People ask for comfort in sorrow before this icon.
At 13 x 18 cm the icon suits a home icon corner or a shelf. It comes in a gift box, a present for a mother, a godmother or someone going through a hard time.
The base is natural wood with a 999 silver coating. Handmade. Wipe the cover with a dry soft cloth, without water.
