Description
The Jerusalem icon of the Mother of God is said to have been painted by the Evangelist Luke. It was later taken to Constantinople, where the people prayed before it during sieges of the city. Today Christians turn to it for help in sorrow, in hard times and on journeys.
At 13 x 18 cm it takes its place in a home icon corner or on a shelf. It comes in a gift box, easy to give to someone close.
Made by hand on a natural wood base, with 999 silver applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD). Wipe the cover with a dry soft cloth.

Shipping was incredibly fast considering the item was coming from Estonia to the southwest United States. The packaging was also very good, in that the icon inside suffered no damage from international shipping. Additionally, this icon turned out to be even more beautiful in person. It is top notch quality!
