Description
The set holds Christ Pantocrator, holding the Gospel and blessing with His right hand, and the Kazan icon of the Mother of God, found in 1579. Icons of Christ and the Mother of God form the heart of a home icon corner.
Each icon is 6.4 x 5 cm. They come in a gift box; by tradition parents give a couple these two icons at their wedding, and the pair also suits a baptism or a housewarming.
The special metal alloy base carries 999 silver applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD), and the colour images are screen-printed.
