Description
The Kazan icon of the Mother of God was found in Kazan in 1579 and soon became one of the most venerated icons of the Mother of God. People pray before it for their families and children, and it is traditionally given to a couple at their wedding.
At 13 x 18 cm it can be the main icon of the Mother of God in a home icon corner, or stand on a shelf. It comes in a gift box.
The base is MDF, with 999 silver applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD), and the image keeps the traditional colours of icon painting. Handmade. Wipe it with a dry soft cloth.
