Description
On the Kazan icon the Mother of God is shown with the Christ Child standing at her shoulder. Found in Kazan in 1579, it is now kept in almost every Orthodox family, where people pray before it for their loved ones and for peace at home.
The 13 x 18 cm icon has a place in a home icon corner or on a shelf. It is packed in a gift box and makes a good present for a housewarming or a wedding.
The base is MDF, with 999 silver applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD). Wipe the cover with a dry soft cloth, without water or cleaning products.
