Description
Icons of the Saviour and the Mother of God are the foundation of any home icon corner, so they are often bought together. The Vladimir icon of the Mother of God, by tradition painted by the Evangelist Luke, came from Constantinople in the 12th century.
Each icon is 6.4 x 5 cm. Place the pair in the icon corner, on a shelf or a desk, or take them travelling. A good first set for anyone starting an icon corner at home.
The colour image is screen-printed on a special alloy base coated with 999 silver by physical vapour deposition (PVD).
