Description
The set brings together an icon of the Lord Jesus Christ and two of the best-known icons of the Mother of God. The Kazan icon was found in the city of Kazan in 1579; the Vladimir icon, by tradition painted by the Apostle Luke, came from Constantinople in the 12th century.
Each icon measures 6.4 x 5 cm. Stand the three side by side on a shelf or in an icon corner; the small set makes a good housewarming or baptism gift.
The image is screen-printed on a special metal alloy coated with 999 silver by physical vapour deposition (PVD). Screen printing holds its colour well; wipe the icons with a dry soft cloth.
