Description
The Seven Arrows icon shows the Mother of God with seven arrows piercing her heart. They stand for the fullness of the sorrows she bore in her earthly life, as the righteous Simeon foretold. Christians pray before this icon for reconciliation and peace in the family.
At 13 x 18 cm it suits a home icon corner and is often placed facing the front door. It comes in a handmade gift box and makes a thoughtful housewarming present.
The base is MDF with a coating of 999 silver applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD), and the image keeps the traditional colours of iconography. Handmade.
