Description
The Seven Arrows icon shows the Mother of God with seven arrows piercing her heart, recalling Simeon's prophecy that a sword would pierce her soul. Orthodox Christians pray before it for reconciliation and for peace at home.
At 8 x 11 cm it fits an icon corner, a bedside shelf or a desk, and makes a caring gift for someone going through a hard time.
The base is brown MDF; the 999 silver coating is applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD), and the image keeps the traditional colours of icon painting. Wipe it with a dry soft cloth, without water.
