Description
St Nektarios, Metropolitan of Pentapolis, reposed in 1920 and rests in the Holy Trinity convent he founded on the island of Aegina. He is one of the most loved saints of the 20th century, and many turn to him in illness and sorrow.
The 13 x 18 cm icon comes in a handmade gift case together with 12 postcards. The postcards reproduce famous icons from different periods, including the Novgorod and Moscow schools.
The base is MDF with 999 silver applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD); the image follows a Byzantine original in traditional colours. Handmade.
