Description

St Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra in Lycia, lived in the 4th century and is known for his mercy and his miracles. He is honoured as the patron of travellers, children and all in need, and his icon is found in almost every Orthodox home.

At 13 x 18 cm the icon stands out in a home icon corner and also suits a study or an office. The box holds 12 wax candles, 195 mm long and 8 mm thick, each with the image of St Nicholas and the prayer "Save and protect".

The base is MDF; the 999 silver is applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD), and the image keeps the traditional colours of icon painting. Wipe the cover with a dry soft cloth, without water.
