Description
St Nicholas was Bishop of Myra in the 4th century. Many stories tell of his secret help to people in need, which is why he is called the Wonderworker and a quick helper; his feasts are kept in December and May.
The icon uses the traditional colours of iconography, with silver and gold in the cover bringing out the image. It measures 21 x 28 cm and is 13 mm thick, and it comes in a gift box, ideal for a name day or a housewarming. Handmade.
The base is brown MDF, with 999 silver applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD). Wipe it with a dry soft cloth, without water or cleaning products.
