Description
St Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra in Lycia, lived in the 4th century and was known for his mercy to the poor and his defence of the wrongly condemned. His feast falls on 6 December, or 19 December in churches that keep the Julian calendar, and he is honoured as a quick helper.
At 13 x 18 cm the icon suits a home icon corner, a shelf or a desk. It comes in a gift box, a present for a name day, a housewarming or Christmas.
The base is MDF with 999 silver applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD). Handmade. Wipe the cover with a dry soft cloth.
