Description
The icon shows the Last Supper, the final meal of the Lord Jesus Christ with the twelve apostles on the eve of His Passion, when He gave the Church the sacrament of Holy Communion. By tradition this icon hangs in the dining room or kitchen, above the family table.
The icon measures 10 x 16.5 cm. It suits a kitchen, a dining room or an icon corner, and is a fitting gift for a housewarming or a wedding.
The image follows a Byzantine icon in traditional colours. The base is brown MDF, with 999 silver applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD). Handmade.
