Description
On the icon of the Passion the Mother of God holds the Christ Child, while two Angels carry the instruments of His future suffering: the Cross, the spear and the reed with the sponge. The Child turns towards them and holds His Mother's hand.
At 13 x 18 cm the icon suits a home icon corner or a shelf and is especially remembered during Great Lent.
The base is MDF, with 999 silver applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD), gold in the cover and the traditional colours of icon painting. Handmade. Wipe the icon with a dry soft cloth.
