Description
In the Bible the tree of life stands in the midst of Paradise (Genesis), and in the Revelation of St John its fruit is promised to the faithful. Christian tradition sees in it a symbol of eternal life in Christ and of the unbroken bond between God and humanity.
At 13 x 18 cm the icon fits a home icon corner, a shelf or a desk. It is laid in a gift case and makes a gift for a church feast or a special occasion.
The base is brown MDF with 999 silver applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD); the image follows a Byzantine model. Handmade.
