Description

The Vladimir icon of the Mother of God came from Byzantium and is one of the most venerated Orthodox icons. The Christ Child tenderly presses his cheek to his Mother's, and the faithful pray before it for their loved ones and for peace at home.

The set holds the 6.4 x 5 cm icon, a box of 12 wax candles, 195 x 8 mm, with the words "Save and protect", and a prayer book with the Akathist to the Mother of God. The small icon suits a shelf, a bedside table or a desk.

The base is MDF, with 999 silver applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD). Everything is packed in a handmade gift box.
