Description

On the Vladimir icon the Christ Child presses his cheek to the face of the Mother of God, a type known as the Virgin of Tenderness. The icon came from Constantinople and became one of the most venerated icons of the Theotokos.

The set contains the 8 x 11 cm icon and an akathist, packed in a handmade gift box: a gift for a name day, a housewarming, a christening or the feast of the Vladimir icon.

The icon base is MDF, with 999 silver applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD). Wipe the cover with a dry soft cloth, without water or cleaning products.
