Help During a Serious Illness

At the beginning of January 2002, doctors discovered a pituitary tumour.

The illness progressed rapidly.

My condition became so serious that I could barely walk without assistance.

My relatives took me to Samtavro Monastery, to the resting place of Saint Gabriel Urgebadze.

While still there, I felt an unexpected relief and was able to return home on my own.

After that, I prayed to the Lord every day, asking for help through the prayers of Saint Gabriel, and reverently used the blessed oil.

A repeat examination was carried out in April.

According to the doctors, there were no longer any signs of the tumour.

For me, this became a great consolation and a strengthening of faith.

“In every circumstance of life, let us place our hope above all in the mercy of God.”
