The Cancelled Operation

The Story of Tsisana Kiliftari · Ozurgeti, Georgia

My great-granddaughter Maria developed severe ear pain.

After an examination, a professor scheduled an operation.

Before the appointed date, we decided to travel to Samtavro Monastery.

Each time, we prayed to the Lord and, with a blessing, used oil blessed at the resting place of Saint Gabriel.

On the day of the operation, the doctor examined the child carefully once again.

To our surprise, surgery was no longer necessary.

Maria was healthy.

With gratitude, we glorified the Lord for His mercy and have never ceased praying to Saint Gabriel.

“The Lord always knows what is beneficial for a person and grants help according to His holy will.”
