Description
The front shows the Crucifixion, the Mother of God, St Mary Magdalene, St John the Theologian, the centurion Longinus, the Apostles Peter and Paul and the Holy Trinity. The back shows Archangel Michael, St Alexander Nevsky, St Leonid, the warrior saints Theodore the Recruit, Theodore Stratelates and Demetrius of Thessaloniki, and the Tikhvin icon of the Mother of God.
The cross measures 33 x 65 mm including the loop and weighs about 18.5 g. A large cross with detailed relief, usually chosen by men. Wear it on a chain or a cord.
Blessed on particles of the relics of St George the Victorious. The 925 sterling silver darkens in the recesses over time, so the small figures of the saints read more clearly.
