An old-style cross with the Protection of the Mother of God and the prayer "Save and protect". The feast of the Protection recalls how the Mother of God spread her veil over those at prayer, and she is honoured as the Protectress of all Christians.
It measures 19 x 36 mm and weighs about 7 g. A medium size that is comfortable to wear every day under clothing. A good baptism gift. It hangs on a chain or a cord.
