Description
The set contains the New Testament in Georgian in a dark red cover (640 pages, 176 x 83 x 18 mm, limited edition), a prayer book in Georgian (447 pages, Tbilisi, 2022) and an akathist to St Gabriel in Georgian (40 pages, Tbilisi, 2015). It also includes 9 wax candles containing sand from the saint's burial place, in an 80 x 200 mm box, and a 55 x 205 mm bookmark with St Spyridon of Trimythous.
The 65 x 100 mm icon of St Gabriel (Urgebadze) comes with a laminated 130 x 180 mm card and two colour cards of 50 x 75 and 50 x 65 mm with his image. A laminated 65 x 95 mm card shows the reliquary and carries on its back a particle of cloth blessed on the relics of St Gabriel.
The relics of St Gabriel (Urgebadze) rest at Samtavro monastery in Mtskheta. He reposed in 1995, and in 2012 the Georgian Church canonised him. People turn to him in prayer for health and healing, for their families and loved ones. The set is blessed at Samtavro monastery.
