Description
The fullest set in Russian. It holds a 65 x 100 mm icon of St Gabriel (Urgebadze), a prayer book (447 pages, Tbilisi, 2022), an akathist to St Gabriel (40 pages, Tbilisi, 2015), a laminated 130 x 180 mm postcard and a 50 x 75 mm colour card with the saint, and 9 wax candles containing sand from his burial place, in an 80 x 200 mm box.
A separate laminated 65 x 95 mm card shows the reliquary and carries on its back a particle of cloth blessed on the relics of St Gabriel. St Gabriel (Urgebadze) reposed in the Lord in 1995 and was numbered among the saints by the Georgian Church in 2012. His relics rest at Samtavro monastery in Mtskheta; people ask his prayers for health, for healing and for those they love.
The set is blessed at Samtavro monastery. It is given for church feasts and special days, and helps to set up a prayer corner at home.
