Description
The cross is decorated on both sides. The front shows the Crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Trinity and the Great Martyr George the Victorious, with the letters IC XC and NIKA. The back shows the holy Prince Alexander Nevsky and the short prayer "Save and protect". Both saints are honoured as heavenly patrons of soldiers.
The cross measures 32 x 56 mm and weighs about 14.5 g. A large, noticeable cross, worn on a chain or a cord.
925 sterling silver, blessed on particles of the relics of St George the Victorious. Over time the silver darkens in the recesses, which brings out the relief.
