Description
The set pairs two icons. Christ Pantocrator holds the Gospel and blesses with his right hand. The Vladimir Mother of God is, by tradition, the work of the Evangelist Luke; the icon was brought from Constantinople in the 12th century.
Each icon is 8 x 11 cm. Icons of the Saviour and the Mother of God are traditionally placed side by side in a home icon corner, which makes the pair a good housewarming gift. It comes in a gift case.
The base is brown MDF with 999 silver applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD). Handmade.
