Description
The Holy Trinity icon follows the Bible story of the three Angels who visited Abraham at the oak of Mamre. Through this image the Church shows the unity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and the icon is often given for a christening, a wedding or a housewarming.
The icon measures 90 x 110 mm and is 20 mm thick, on a wooden base. The box holds 12 wax candles, 195 mm long and 8 mm thick, each with the image of the Holy Trinity and the prayer "Save and protect".
The set comes from the Holy Dormition Pskov-Caves monastery: the icon was produced in its workshops, all items were blessed at the monastery, and the icon has a workshop certificate.
