Description
St Spyridon, Bishop of Trimythous, lived in Cyprus in the 4th century. A shepherd before he became a bishop, he kept a simple life to the end; his relics rest on the island of Corfu. Christians ask his help in everyday needs: a home, work and provision for the family.
At 13 x 18 cm the icon suits a home icon corner, a shelf or a study. It comes in a gift box, a fitting present for a housewarming or a name day.
The base is MDF, with 999 silver applied by physical vapour deposition (PVD); the image follows a Byzantine original. Handmade. Wipe the cover with a dry soft cloth.
