Description
This set was put together at the Holy Dormition Pskov-Caves monastery: an icon of St Spyridon of Trimythous, a box of 12 wax candles, a ceramic candle holder and a prayer book to St Spyridon.
St Spyridon, Bishop of Trimythous, lived in Cyprus in the 4th century; his relics rest on the island of Corfu. Orthodox Christians ask his help in everyday needs: a home, work and provision for the family.
The icon is on a wooden base, 90 x 110 mm and 20 mm thick. The candles are 195 mm long, the holder 70 x 45 mm. The icon comes from the monastery workshops, is blessed and has a workshop certificate.
