Wedding Icon Pair Set of 8 Items from the Pskov-Caves Monastery

Icons of the Saviour and the Kazan Mother of God form a wedding pair: they are given to the bride and groom and later take the central place in the new family's home. Both icons are on wood, 110 mm high and 20 mm thick; the Saviour icon is 90 x 110 mm.

With the icons come three boxes of 12 wax candles, 145 mm long, with images of St Nicholas, the Great Martyr Panteleimon and St Seraphim of Sarov, a ceramic holder, 70 x 35 mm, and 14 incense candles of natural incense with birch charcoal and a small stand. A little travel kit completes the set: a laminated icon of the Synaxis of the Pskov-Caves Saints with sand from the Holy Caves, oil from the church and a small wooden cross from the holy oak.

Every item was produced in the workshops of the Holy Dormition Pskov-Caves monastery and blessed there; the icons come with a workshop certificate.
